Promoting Consumer Adoption of Electric Vehicles from a Standard-Information-Behavior Perspective

Consumer adoption of electric vehicles is essentially related to product quality factors, such as safety, performance and compatibility; however, the relationship between standards consumer behavior not clear. Based on Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) Prospect Theory, we distinguish claimed attributes, intrinsic measured attributes perceived establish a conceptional model using System Dynamics (SD) simulation from perspective Standard-Information-Behavior framework explore heterogeneous impacts technical consumers’ willingness adopt vehicles. theory simulation, try explain effects three different standards: compatibility. We find that safety affect through market access mechanism, risk positively customers’ quality, compatibility influence network value.
